1. How do I book?

 Please state what house and which dates you are wanting to book for. Sorry, Swedish and English only!


2. How and when should payment be made?

A 10% deposit within 2 weeks of the booking and full payment no later than one month before arrival.

3. What is the cancellation policy?

If you cancel more than 30 days before the arrival then only the deposit is lost. If you cancel later than 30 days before arrival then 90% of the total rent is charged.

4. Do I need a car?

Yes, it is very difficult to stay here without one. A taxi from Skavsta costs ca SEk500. We can recommend a local car hire company.

5. Where are nearest shops and when are they open?

We recommend ICA supermarket at Oppeby, which is close to Skavsta.

6. Where can I buy wine?

In Sweden and all wine and spirits are sold in systembolaget. There are two in Nyköping and another in Malmköping. Closed from Sat 1400 and all day Sunday.


7. Do you have baby cots and child seats?

Yes, we have facilities for children, including infant and child life jackets for the water.

8.  Is fishing equipment provided?

No sorry please bring your own and note the comments under the fishing section on restrictions.

Catch and Release will mean more fishing fun!

9. Is there internet available and how good are mobile communications?

We have a mobile broadband network in the Flygeln that operates on Tele 2 4G system, with approximately 30mb download speed. This is available free, but only near the Flygeln. 

10. How do we sort our rubbish?

Garbage is collected only every 2 weeks, so careful sorting is essential. There are bins near the Old Stable. We recycle actively! All glass, hard plastic, newspapers and metal cans are separated and can be disposed of in recycling centres in the town. We also have a composter for organic waste to reduce the weight of the garbage. Please ask and we’ll explain.
